- I'm not clairvoyant, but I'm guessing only a handful of meetings you attend are productive. The rest are why you don't have time for the work that actually matters. So, open your calendar or schedule right now and take a look at your recurring meetings daily, weekly, monthly, et cetera. Make a note of those which are a productive use of your time, and set those aside. Then capture all the meetings that waste your time. Feel free to press pause if that list is going to take you a minute or 10. Now that you've identified your time wasting meetings let's see if we can eliminate, shorten, or otherwise improve them.
