Asking for feedback

- Often part of the reason we don't like to ask for feedback is when others suggest improvements, it feels very personal or like a criticism. On the flip side, providing feedback can be tricky if you feel that you don't want to offend, but you want to help the other person improve their performance or relationships. Feedback, however, is a tool. It's a process that will help you to get better at what you do, continue doing what you are already good at, and build better relationships. Let's start by looking at who you should ask for feedback. You have some options here. It could be people that you trust and have a great relationship with, or important stakeholders who you need to build strong relationships with to move forward in your career or achieve important goals. You might want to ask people you admire who have a skill that you want to develop. You might even want to ask people who you have a difficult relationship…
