- When you work with code, you want to work with Git. Git is a must-have tool that you can use for version control, collaboration, and managing open source. It's lightweight and it's easy to install, but it can be pretty hard to start using. Git has a lot of options, and you can quickly get lost in all the possibilities, maybe even giving up, thinking it's too complicated, but it doesn't have to be.
