- [Instructor] So one thing that's mysterious about macros and VBA is this, where do they live? Well, notice in my ribbon, there is no developer tab. That's where the code lives. By default, the developer tab is not enabled. We have to manually enable it. I'm going to go to file, options. Customize ribbon. Notice, developer, this box needs to be checked. Click okay. There is the developer tab. Let's click on it and look at some things. Developer, there are three buttons I want to point out to you. First of all, the macros button. So I'm going to click that. It's where we would see any macros in either all open workbooks as the macros in has defaulted to or we could look at macros in this workbook only. This is also where we can launch macros.
