- Every director has their own visual style of shooting. And I try to research my directors before I work with them. So the first thing I do is I look them up on IMDbPro to see if I have any shared titles and what else they've worked on. So if we look here at the screen, Alex Zamm. I actually just finished a movie with Alex. And I can see here on his filmography all the different things that he's worked with. And IMDbPro allows me a really quick way to see if we've ever worked on the same project. So I click on this Network tab. It says we have six shared titles. That's important 'cause there are times that you might have worked on the same thing with someone but never interacted with 'cause a lot of directors also perform other roles in production. That helps me break the ice. Or even if I just look at something they might have worked on that I really loved. That will also help me break the ice at the beginning…
