AWS Outposts compatibility
- [Narrator] AWS Outposts is a fully managed service by AWS Web Services that brings AWS infrastructure and services to an on-premise facility, such as a data center you own. This private cloud blends public cloud computing with onsite resources. This allows you to run applications in a hybrid environment. AWS Outposts is compatible with various AWS services, including EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, EKS, ECS, EMR and SageMaker among others. You can learn more about these services in our course on public clouds. This range of AWS services ensures that businesses can deploy the components of AWS Cloud they need on-premise. This means that they can build an application to run on their hardware using AWS Outposts, and then move that application to the AWS Public Cloud at some time in the future.
