- [Instructor] One of the coolest things about the 2D animation tool inside of Blender is that it allows you to quickly come up with ideas and then put them over time so you can see how they would flow. Let me show you. Go to File and New, 2D Animation. Down here at the bottom, there is a new area that we haven't looked at. It is called the dope sheet, and within the dope sheet is an area called grease pencil. You'll see a little white diamond, and when you left click on it, it turns orange. Inside this view, just left click and draw a simple circle. Now, that's not the best circle on the planet, but it does its job. Go ahead and left click and drag this little playhead. Let's say around 20 or so. Now draw that circle again and do your best to keep the shape, and now let's come over to 40 and do it again. You can see what's happening here.
