Overview of animation - Blender Tutorial
From the course: Blender 4.0 Essential Training
Overview of animation
- [Tutor] Welcome to the chapter on animation. In this chapter, we're going to cover a lot of really cool stuff to make our star fighter really come alive. First, we'll talk about rigging and why it is so important, even for hard surface objects, like our star fighter. Rigging unlocks pose mode, which gives us a plethora of animation tools that we can use to really make animating awesome and easy inside a blender. We'll talk about weight painting, setting our first key frame, how to use a graph editor, and even how to polish off your camera animation with some really cool tools inside a blender. I can't wait to dive into this chapter, so let's jump to Lightspeed and begin animating.
