- [Instructor] In this lesson, I want to go over how to use the Blender Grease Pencil tool, to create some concept art for our upcoming character. Now I get it, you may be interested in making a vehicle, or a ship and not necessarily a cute character. And that's totally fine, but I still recommend you follow along with the Grease Pencil tool, because you might discover some interesting things that you can pick up, and use later on in your Blender journey. In order to access the tool, you want to go to File, New, and go to 2D Animation. Here, you'll be greeted by a new layout, but if you look on the left you still have your tools. At the top you still have your menu bar, with a few extra properties, like radius and strength. And of course the properties are on the right, and our timeline is a little bit more expanded.
