- [Instructor] Now I know what you're thinking. You've always wanted to create a furry monkey. Well, look no further, because in this video I'm going to show you how to generate fur and hair using Blender's particle system. It's quite straightforward. Go ahead and delete this cube and add a monkey. For good measure, I'm going to come over to my Modifier's tab and add a subdivision. Now let's zoom in a little bit. You can go to Object, Quick Effects, Quick Fur and right away, you can see that this monkey has some fur applied to it. This little options dialogue box allows you to change the amount of fur. Depending on the power of your computer, you may want to go between light, medium, or heavy. You can also change the length and you can even change the material. Let's go ahead and make it a bit pink. As you hold down your middle mouse button, you can drag to the right and preview what this fur might look like…
