Turning logos into 3D models
- [Instructor] You may find yourself wanting to take logos that you've made in other software like Illustrator and turning it into a 3D logo inside of Blender. And trust me, it couldn't be any easier so let's go ahead and do that. First, I want to just left-click and drag a box here and then hit the delete key on my keyboard 'cause I want a clean scene. Next, I'm going to hold down the middle mouse button and come all the way over to the left and go to file import. And you'll see that there's two SVGs SVG as a grease pencil and a scalable vector graphics. Out of programs like Illustrator you can export an SVG file and bring it into Blender so let's go ahead and do that. Now we need a logo to play with. So I went to the blender.org/about/logo page and I picked one of the community batches. Go ahead and right-click and save the SVG, not the PNG file.
