- [Instructor] In this video, we'll cover three key topics: what is a container, understanding containers, and how can we deploy a container. When we deploy software, we need to host it in an environment that provides the hardware, operating system, and runtime components. Azure cognitive services are provided as a cloud service in which software is hosted in an Azure datacenter that provides the underlying runtime, services, OS, and hardware. But, there are some Azure services that are available in a container where the container with Azure services, prepared operating system, and hardware is deployed in a container host system. A container comprises an application or services, along with the runtime components needed to run them while abstracting the underlying OS and hardware.
