- [Instructor] When we run our piping through the facility, there are times when we need to locate our piping runs relative to non-piping component. This would typically be a building, structure, a pipe support, pipe wrack or some modules seal. We can have a reference dimension in our model that will generate intervention to non-visible component. In this lesson, we'll take a look at how to create a dimension in our ISOs that references the piping relative to some structural steel. So let's go ahead and open in chapter 10, plant 3D drawings, our number 10_model. Now let me just take a look here at the grid reference we have, so we have our columns A1, A2 and what we're going to do is, I'm going to just rotate this around into top view. I want to locate the center of this flange, relative to the center of this column.
