- To allow the world to see your After Effects creations, you have to render them out. In fact, After Effects is rendering all the time on your behalf, but that's only while you're working to show you the result in the viewers. Here, we're talking about the final output. There are a couple of fundamental ways to render a shot from After Effects, each with its specific benefits. In this lesson, we're going to focus on Adobe Media Encoder, which is a separate application that allows you to easily create the most common files that you'll want to share.
