- To allow the world to see your After Effects creations you have to render them out. In fact, After Effects is rending all the time on your behalf but that's only while you're working to show you the result in the Viewers. Here we're talking about the final output. There are a couple of fundamental ways to render a shot from After Effects, each with its specific benefits. In this lesson, we're going to focus on Adobe Media Encoder which is a separate application that allows you to easily create the most common files that you'll want to share. Here you see Adobe Media Encoder and I have actually taken all of the comps that we've finished in this section and set them up to render here. Now they're all set up to be H.264 and this is something that I rely on Media Encoder for a lot. But there are an awful lot of different types of formats you might want to render to and different presents that you can find over here…
