Importing into Adobe Premiere Pro with the Media Browser

- The first step to keying is actually bringing the footage into a project. And even if you intend to end up in After Effects, I find that the media browser workflow in Premiere Pro is better. It makes it really easy to import footage from a wide variety of cameras. Let's tackle this import process. To start, mouse over your project panel and select the media browser. To make this a bit bigger, I'll press the accent grave key which maximizes the window under my cursor and now we can navigate to footage. Let's go ahead and just navigate here to the downloaded files. I've placed them on my desktop, but you might have stored them in a different location and what you can actually do as well is right click on a folder and add that to favorites. Now it's going to be stored here as a shortcut, making it easy to jump back. Let's go into folder two here for a moment and you'll see that we have a variety of options.
