- [Instructor] One of the biggest additions to Ableton Live 12 is the new transform and generate tools. Let's start with Arpeggiate and Strum. So I've got the Arpeggiate and Strum Project open, and I've selected this first clip on the analog soft pad track. Now, what I want to do here is I want to create some chords. (note ringing) So I'm going to select this first note. And I've got the pitch tools open here next to the MIDI editor. Now, we can add intervals. And I want you to notice that when we have the scale option or scale mode on, the values that we change by change from semitones to scale degrees, and that's indicated by this SD. If I disable scale mode, you'll notice that it says st or semitones. So I want to add some thirds above this, and so that's going to be two-scaled degrees above the selected note. So I'll click Add Interval. (note ringing) We get one third. And I'm going to click it again to add another one. (note ringing) (note ringing) Then over here on the D, I'll…
