- [Instructor] In the previous video, we introduced a new editing technique referred to as chopping or splitting notes. Let's take a deeper look at how we can use this tool. So I've got the chop and split project open if you want to follow along. And I'm going to select this clip on the impulse track so that we see it down here in clip view. Now before we get into chop and split, I want to lengthen this loop out to be a four bar loop. And we can do that a couple of different ways. First of all, you can just select the loop brace and duplicate it using the command D function or control D on a PC, and that will double the length of the clip with the content. Now I can do the same thing over on the control bar by simply clicking this duplicate button, and we've immediately got a four bar loop here. So let's zoom in here over here at the end of the clip, and I'm going to add a little bit of a snare fill. So let me delete those three high hat hits. And then I'm going to take this snare hit…
