- What happens when a problem rises in your organization and you try to fix it by looking at it from one side only? In my experience, if you try to find a solution without including every relevant area or function, chances are the problem will not be solved and it will repeat over and over. So it makes better sense to work on problems together with every relevant function and role in the organization. Working this way, we stand a better chance of finding sustainable solutions and reducing the risk of the problem repeating. In addition, by working together at every opportunity to solve a problem, the organization as a whole learns. Begin the problem solving process by engaging as many areas from your organization, plus any relevant external stakeholders. At the top of the A3 document, you'll notice an area where a few roles need to be chosen and listed.
