- Hi, I'm George Maestri and it is rigging day today. We're going to take a look at eyes and how to create a rig that dilates a pupil. So, here I have an eye. Now, how you model your eye is really going to depend on your character and how you want to animate the eye and the realism and so on. But typically, this method will work for almost any type of eye. So I've got this eye here and it's a little bit more realistic. So I actually have a hole where the pupil is and then we have the sclera here and then the rest of the eyeball. So in another type of eye, this may actually be covered over but this technique will work for just about any geometry. So if we want to dilate this pupil, we need to either shrink or grow this portion of the eye. And so, what I've done is I've done a very simple modeling task. I've duplicated this eye, I've created this one here, and all I've done is I've shrunk that hole or that pupil…
