- [Instructor] Hi, I'm George Mastry. Today we're going to take a look at another way to skin characters that you might not be familiar with, and that's called interactive skin bind, and it's very similar to how 3ds Max skins characters, in that it uses capsules and volumes to define the deformation space. So let's take a look at how this works. It's really very simple. So let's go into rigging. I'm going to go ahead and select my skeleton, and just like with every other skinning, I'm going to shift select the mesh last. And then let's go over to the skin menu, and we're going to go to interactive bind skin. Let's take a look at the options here. So we're going to leave this at the defaults, but let's go through some of these. We're going to bind to, joint hierarchy, selected joints. or object hierarchy. We're going to go joint hierarchy.
