What changes when I have access to the full LinkedIn experience?

LinkedIn offers a limited version of our Services (as defined in our User Agreement) in some regions to members who are Minors. When members in these regions become adults, their experience will include previously limited features, such as notifications, targeted ads, and additional messaging capabilities. Members can control these features through their settings. 

Notification preferences

LinkedIn sends notifications to adult members in your region about activity on LinkedIn. Activity updates include, but are not limited to, reactions to your posts, updates from your network, pages you follow, or events that you attend. You can change your notification preferences at any time, including selecting the types of notifications you do and no not want to receive in your settingsLearn more.

Advertising preferences

LinkedIn uses data that we collect, infer, or receive about adult members in your region to show personalized ads both on and off of LinkedIn. You can change your advertising preferences at any time, including the data that can be used to serve you ads, in your settings. Learn more.

Messaging preferences

Adult members can receive messages from a wider array of people on LinkedIn, including their network beyond first-degree connections. You can change your messaging preferences at any time, including selecting the types of messages that you do and do not want to receive in your settingsLearn more.

If you do not want to receive messages from particular people, you may also block them. Learn more.
