Premium members can send InMail messages directly to other LinkedIn members who aren't connected with them. Apart from InMail messages, you might also receive Sponsored Messaging from recruiters and businesses. Those are a form of native advertising displayed in the context of your messaging experience, not messages. In the unlikely event that you see an inappropriate Sponsored Messaging ad, please report it. See the Report inappropriate and offensive ads article for more information.
