If you do not see the option to use LinkedIn Live or LinkedIn Audio Event in the event creation form, it’s likely that you are not eligible. Please review the LinkedIn Live access criteria or Audio Event access criteria.

Click the
Home icon at the top of the page. -
From the panel on the left side, click the
Add icon next to Events. -
Follow the instructions below for each field in the Create an event pop-up window:
Field Instructions Upload cover image You can use different banner sizes including 480x270 or 1280x720 pixels. The minimum width is 480 pixels, and the aspect ratio must be 16:9.
Note: You can upload an image from your device, but uploading images stored in the cloud is not supported.
Add alternative text (Alt text) to the cover image After uploading the cover image, click Alt text to add a description of the image to help members using voice-over screen readers. Alt text will not be visible to members who are not using screen readers.
Organizer Select your profile or Page depending on who you want to be shown as the host of the Event. Event type Select Online if it is an online event
Select In person if it is an offline event. You'll need to add additional information details like venue and location.
Event format Select LinkedIn Live to stream your video event on LinkedIn via a third party tool (available only if you have access to LinkedIn Live).
Select LinkedIn Audio Event to host your audio only event directly on LinkedIn (availabe only if you have access to Audio Events)
Select External event link if you plan to stream or host your event off LinkedIn but only want to promote your event on LinkedIn. You’ll have to add the link to your external broadcast location so that attendees can easily join your event off LinkedIn. We recommend selecting LinkedIn Live where possible to prevent attendees from dropping off as they switch to other platforms.
Event name Type a unique name that reflects the theme of your event. Timezone Select the applicable time zone from the dropdown. Start date/Start time Select the date and time of the event in the fields provided. Add end date and time Select this checkbox if you want your event to end at a specific date and time. You’ll have to select the date and time of the event in the fields provided. Use a LinkedIn registration form (available only for Pages) Select this checkbox to allow members to register for the event. You’ll have to provide your privacy policy link in the provided field. This link should tell the attendees how you’ll use their information. Description Type a brief description that highlights the theme and purpose of the event. Speakers Type the name of the speakers and select them from the suggestions. They'll be auto-invited to the event.
The speaker's name only appears if they are your LinkedIn connection.

Click Next.

Type about your event in the What do you want to talk about? field of the Share box to promote your event.

Select who you want to share the post with.

Click Post to create the event. Please note that the Event cannot be created without this step.

Select the applicable event from the list.

Click Edit.

Make the required changes in the Edit event page.

Click Save.

Tap
My Network in the navigation bar. -
Tap Manage my network.

Tap Events.
-
Tap Create in the upper-right corner.

Fill in the requested information.

In Organizer dropdown, select your profile or Page depending on who you want to be shown as the host of the Event.

Under Event type, you can select:
- Online if it is an online event.
- In person if it is an offline event. You’ll need to add additional details like venue and location.

In Event format dropdown, you can select:
- LinkedIn Live to stream your video event on LinkedIn via a third party tool (available only if you have access to LinkedIn Live).

Tap the
Edit icon on the upper-right corner to upload a cover image. -

Tap Done.

Select who you want to share the post with.

Tap Post to create the event. Please note that the Event cannot be created without this step.

My Network in the navigation bar. -
Tap Manage my network.

Tap Show all next to Your events to see all your events.

Select the applicable event.

Tap Manage.

Tap
Edit event. -
Make the required changes in the Edit event page.
