You can search for sent and received messages on LinkedIn using filters or keywords. Though LinkedIn does not have a sent folder, sent messages can be found within an existing conversation thread in LinkedIn messaging.
To open a conversation and view the messages you've sent:

Click the
Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Locate the name of your recipient in the left rail and click on the message to open the conversation.

You can also find previous messages with your connections by entering in their name in the
Search messages bar near the top left of the page. - Any sent messages will appear with a gray background and aligned to the right side of the conversation. Received messages will appear aligned to the left.
To search for specific messages using filters:

Click the
Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click the
Filter icon on the left rail. -
Select an option from the dropdown that appears to filter by:
- All Messages
- Archived
- My Connections
- Unread
- InMail
- Spam
Note: An InMail message is a message sent to someone who is not a connection. Filtering by All Connections will show you only the messages sent from your direct connections.
To filter your messages:

Filter icon in the Search bar at the top of the screen. -
Select an option from the dropdown that appears to filter by:
- All Messages
- Archived
- My Connections
- Unread
- InMail
- Spam
