You can comment on posts and reply to comments from other members.
Notes:
- Members can disable comments on their posts. This will prevent you from commenting.
- Members can limit commenting on their posts to connections only. This will prevent you from commenting if you aren’t their 1st-degree connection.
- When a member comments on their own post, an Author tag is displayed next to their name.
- In an effort to keep LinkedIn safe and professional, we may limit the number of comments a member can make in a given period of time.
To comment on a post:

Comment below the post or in the textbox that says Add a comment. -
Type your comment.

Emoji icon to add an emoji or the Photo icon to attach a photo.
- Click the

Click Post.
To reply to a comment:

Click Reply below a comment or in the text box that says Add a reply.

You can sort comments by Most relevant or Most recent comments. Click or tap on the Most relevant dropdown below a comment textbox and select an option. Some comments will only be visible under Most recent view.
