Enhance your profile with LinkedIn’s AI-powered writing assistant

Who can use this feature?

This feature is available only to a select group of LinkedIn Premium subscribers only in English, Spanish, German, French, and Portuguese currently. This feature may be gradually available to more LinkedIn users in the future.


LinkedIn’s AI-powered writing assistant will share personalized suggestions for your profile, to help you stand out and get noticed. This feature is currently available for the Headline, About, and Experience section on your profile. 

To use the AI-powered writing assistant:

You can also access LinkedIn’s AI-powered writing assistant from the My Premium page, under the More Premium exclusive features section or on the top of your profile page.

  1. Access Headline, About, or the Experience section on your profile.

    From the respective section, you can:

    • Headline: Click Write with AI below the headline section
    • About: Click Write with AI in the Edit about text box
    • Experience: Click Rewrite with AI in the Description section of under Edit experience (You at least need to input 20 words describing your experience to unlock AI assistance)
  2. Once the suggestion is drafted, you can: 

    • Save: Click Save to add the suggestion to your profile. You also have the option to edit the AI-powered suggestions directly within the text box before saving the changes. 
    • Skip (wherever applicable): Click Skip to leave out the suggestion from your profile. 
    • Show option [number] (wherever applicable): To see another option, click Show option.
    • View original: Click  Revert to see your original profile content. 
    • Mark suggestion: You can mark the suggestion as  good or  bad.
    • Close: Click the  Close icon on the upper right of the pop-up window to close and exit the suggestions feature at any time. 

    Note: The saved changes will now be reflected on your profile.
