A conversation thread starts when a message is sent to one or more people via LinkedIn messaging. If you no longer need to keep a conversation or group chat, you can delete conversation threads individually or in bulk. You can also edit or delete a single message from a conversation.
Important to know
To delete a conversation or group chat from the messaging page:

Click the
Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select the message you want to delete from the list on the left pane.

Click the
More icon on the top of your conversation thread and select Delete. -
Click Yes, delete to confirm.
To delete a conversation or group chat in conversation windows:

Click the conversation window tab at the bottom of your homepage.

Select the message from the list.

Click the
More icon at the top of the selected conversation thread and select Delete. -
Click Yes, delete to confirm.

Tap the
Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select the conversation you’d like to delete from the message list.

Tap the
or More icon on the upper right of the screen. -
Tap Delete conversation or Delete.

Tap Delete to confirm.

Tap the Messaging icon on the upper right of your LinkedIn homepage.

Tap the conversation you’d like to delete.

Tap the
More icon on the upper right of the conversation. -
Tap Delete conversation.

Tap Ok to confirm.
If you think the conversation is inappropriate for LinkedIn, you can report the conversation, remove the connection, or block the member.
