Youth MOVE (Motivating Others through Voices of Experience) National (YMN) has been envisioning a future in which young people are valued as empowered leaders, advocates, and designers of communities that are built for all youth to thrive, in various forms for over 20 years. At its core, YMN is a youth-led and driven, chapter-based, social justice non-profit, dedicated to improving the lives of youth and the organizations, services, and systems that impact them. Through leadership development, assessment, training, resources, technical assistance, peer support and more, YMN strives to create equitable partnerships that drive positive systems change and centers the needs of the BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ youth communities, and disabled youth, who are disproportionately affected by systematic harm and oppression. Youth MOVE National has over 50 chapters (local, state, and tribal) in almost every state and truly is youth-led and driven (our board is mandated to be 60% youth, including and the President of the organization).
