On a recent episode of The Leverage Report, Cason Carter describes how Broughton Partners uses data sources to verify information provided by claimants during the intake process: 🟢 Treatment Facility Database: They utilize a database of treatment facilities to verify the existence and location of facilities provided by claimants. This database allows them to confirm if the facility is legitimate and situated where the claimant claims to have received treatment. 🟢 Doctor Database: A nationwide doctor database is employed to verify the identity and location of doctors named by claimants. This database ensures that the doctor's name and location match, preventing claimants from providing false information. 🟢 Internal System: Broughton utilizes an internal system that pulls information from the treatment facility and doctor databases. This system is used to analyze the proximity of the treatment facility and the doctor's location, further enhancing the verification process. By using these databases, Broughton aims to: ✅ Ensure accuracy of claimant information: This process helps to prevent fraudulent claims and ensures that claimants are receiving appropriate care. ✅ Streamline the intake process: Verifying information early in the process can help to avoid delays and improve efficiency.
