Don't you just hate hopping between AI apps to do stuff? I usually have ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini open side-by-side because each model excels at particular tasks that the others don't: • ChatGPT is great at data analysis and visualization • Claude is amazing at creative writing • Gemini Pro is excellent for pulling exact information out of long documents That's why I've started to love you.com • I can switch between multiple models in the same app • I can even switch models in the middle of a chat thread • I can compare outputs in one place instead of constantly changing tabs and copy pasting my prompts I've been using it a lot lately and it's great for completing entire tasks in one place, from researching specific information and data and then using to write reports, emails, marketing copy and more. 10 predictions for AI in 2025: 1. Massive data is a necessary but not sufficient requirement for superintelligence. It will still be required to train better multi-modal models and to keep models up-to-date but won’t be enough by itself to push the very cutting edge of AI reasoning much further. 2. Cutting edge models will get almost as good as a person with a PhD for some tasks. Corollary: Most jobs don’t require a PhD and hence open source models will be good enough for many workflows (Llama 4 - in Q1?!). 3. Hundreds of millions of agents will be surfing the web as personal and work assistants. 4. More agents will try to catch up to you(dot)com and graduate from purely providing knowledge to taking actions such as executing code (more to come here ;). Websites that rely partially or completely on ads will try to block agents from performing actions. 5. The most productive knowledge workers will increasingly rely on training and managing their AI agents. We see this already on ydc so the future is already here but not equally distributed. 6. AI and TechBio will dramatically speed up drug development cycles, potentially reducing timelines by 3-5 years. 7. Humanoid robots will eventually face similar challenges as self-driving cars - technically feasible in broader but not all environments - but still too expensive for widespread adoption. Some corner cases will require human intervention sometimes. 8. AI business models will stratify into three tiers: • Major winners: Companies that own the full value chain and can deliver better products at lower costs or charge proportionally for improved outcomes. • Medium winners: Seat based licenses. Works for making people more productive but not automate entire orgs - What happens when you can ask the AI to do 1000x more why charge for one seat only then? Dynamic pricing will emerge when agents scale. • Smaller winners: Those using token-based consumption pricing. It will be a race to the bottom that only NVidia and the data centers can win. 9. We’ll see more AI in the arts, despite a lot of pushback from many in the industry. The time from idea to art will be so much shorter that more people will be able to express themselves artistically. 10. We’ll see the first viral AI-created short film with a young director that does the storytelling.

How will AI change how we navigate the job market — and society at large? You.com CEO Richard Socher helped answer that question when he sat down with Fast Company tech editor Max Ufberg last week for "AI 20: Evolution and Equity," a virtual event examining the future applications of AI for your business and the world at large. During their conversation, Socher compared AI to major technological advances that sometimes took away jobs in favor of new, innovative ones. "I'm fairly confident that we'll just work on a higher level of abstraction, a higher level of productivity, and [we] will continue to need the very best in the field to guide AI for all kinds of new problems," Socher said. Presented by Solidigm.

Where can AI self-improve indefinitely? In domains we can perfectly simulate: • Chess/Go (it can play billions of games) • Programming (run code, verify outputs) But not everywhere: • Customer service (can't simulate infinite human interactions and novel product problems...yet) • Plumbing (no one's even collecting the data) AI reaches superhuman performance when we can digitize and simulate. The physical world is much harder. Full discussion from #FII8 with @PeterDiamandis @kaifulee and @premakkaraju https://lnkd.in/gqsebRFz
