In this new role, Lesley will oversee three YMCA locations, leading and supporting their teams in delivering impactful services to the community.   With over 10 years in the YMCA and nonprofit sectors, Lesley brings a wealth of experience and dedication. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s in Science & Health Promotion from the University of Texas.   Lesley is passionate about building a positive, values-driven culture and championing leadership development to support YMCA teams and communities across Greater Houston.

  • The YMCA of Greater Houston recently honored Howard Tellepsen Jr. with the D. Bradley McWilliams Endowment Award at the Y Forever Endowment Foundation annual luncheon. This award is given annually to a long-term endowment donor for their leadership, volunteerism and financial support. Howard has been involved with the YMCA for almost 50 years, starting as a volunteer board chair. A passionate community supporter, Howard has been a board member and a generous contributor to the YMCA of Greater Houston since 1978 and had a YMCA location named in honor of his family's lasting legacy in 2010. The YMCA is grateful for Howard's dedication to making our community stronger for generations to come.
