Applications are open for our Second Season.
Creator partnership managers are unsung heroes of the creator economy. We love creators, and the fact that they get the attention they deserve. But it's the partnership managers behind the scenes who ensure that collaborations thrive. Managing creators is still a new function for many brands. So earlier this year with support from Creator Camp, Delilah Harvey and I quietly created XPDTN—a community for creator partnership managers—and invited some of the best in the business to join us. People from companies like BetterHelp, CapCut, Epidemic Sound, Free People, Garmin, Notion, Riverside, Skillshare, Spotify, and Squarespace. Members have shared that they’ve found the community invaluable and that they’ve learned lots from each other as well as from our guests (Cayman Rojas, Eric Wei, Joshua Cohen, Zack Honarvar, Casey Rickey). And they love hearing about exciting new creators from Danny Desatnik. Over the course of five months, we refined the program and are now ready to open applications up to new members. If you’re managing creators, working in-house for a brand, we’d love to meet you.

Why are so many creator partnership marketers working in isolation and building systems on the fly? Creator partnership marketing is the latest expertise that marketing organizations must now develop in response to shifting media patterns, and it's a steep learning curve. If your company isn’t already working with content creators to drive growth, it likely will be soon. Many of the folks managing creators for brands are still feeling their way in the space. Even the most advanced creator marketing teams struggle with getting predictable results and quantifying the growth they’re driving for their organizations. That’s why we created XPDTN, where the most innovative creator partnership managers learn and grow together, and generally avoid making each others’ mistakes. We (my Co-Director Delilah Harvey and me) have been piloting the community over the past six weeks with a group of founding members—some of the smartest people in the business, including Tabi Hoshmand, Kamil Strycharz, Nicolás Mayes, Gracie Schram, Lisa Harroy, and Danny Desatnik. The feedback has been very positive and we just keep iterating to make it better all the time. We’re ready to open it up and invite new members to join us for our inaugural 3-month XPDTN. If managing creators is what you do, XPDTN is your new learning community. Join us!
