We believe policies that differentiate between high- and low-strength options will create positive #publichealth outcomes and promote the production and consumption of lower-strength beverages that are a win-win for business, consumers, and society. #GlobalGoals #SDGs #moderation #alcoholpolicy

While the beer industry has been making major investments to support the growth of lower- and no-alcohol beer and promote responsible drinking, policy must also drive #moderation. If a consumer substitutes a high-alcohol drink with a lower-alcohol drink, they will consume less alcohol during that drinking occasion. This substitution effect can improve #publichealth as well as strengthen economies and support thriving communities.
