👩🔬🔬Young STEMinists are exploring the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at Girls Inc. of Worcester (GIW)! GIW was recently awarded interactive STEM kits, which have enhanced their after-school programming for middle school girls. The bacteria culture kit sparked curiosity and experimentation, encouraging girls to swab different areas of the building to determine the 🦠germiest🦠 objects. After letting the bacteria grow for a week, participants swapped stories about their findings. 🧫 🌟 Thank you Nasdaq and Rare Beauty Brands for assembling these engaging kits, and Generus for organizing these meaningful volunteer projects! #wfboston #strongsmartbold #nonprofitorganization

Their new STEM On-The-Go van is making its way to underserved communities, delivering hands-on, interactive programs that cover a variety of topics like space science, engineering, robotics, and coding! Hop in to prepare girls for higher-level STEM education and careers! 🚐 ✨📑 Girls Inc. of Worcester is on a mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through their innovative programming. In order to continue to serve nearly 700 girls from under-resourced communities each year, they’re launching a data-driven program impact evaluation.
