Advancing STEM + Entrepreneurship for Women to create future scientific leaders

About us

Womanium advances students in STEM+Entrepreneurship by introducing them to the opportunities and beauty of STEM+E by directly exposing them to the best of the industry, national and international labs, incubators, factories, manufacturing plants, design centres, and also preparing them with the right kind of knowledge, skills, outlook and perspective required to understand, rise, succeed and make their own marks in those domains. Womanium is based on the simple fact that direct experience and exposure is the best method of learning and growth – and hence, taking young students to see, experience and learn through direct visits to the best avenues. Womanium also believes in early introduction and inculcation of entrepreneurial growth mindset – and thus augmenting the education of students through programs beyond the regular classrooms on STEM+Entrepreneurship.

  • We are excited to welcome E.ON as a partner of the WOMANIUM Quantum Solutions Launchpad program! Over the next year, E.ON and Womanium will explore the practical use cases (and also limitations) of quantum machine learning in the NISQ regime for time series forecasting in energy demand—a critical component for ensuring resilient and efficient energy grids. As energy systems grow in complexity, accurate demand forecasting is essential for optimizing grid performance and reducing waste. Quantum machine learning holds the potential to enhance these predictions, offering innovative solutions for global energy challenges. Together, we aim to shape the future of energy forecasting💡 -- Vardaan Sahgal | PRACHI J. • Excited to have Womanium's co-founder RAJ present on AI governance and how we train the next cadre of AI scientists on building trustworthy AI. #AI #JohnHopkins

As artificial intelligence continues to transform industries, the need for strong governance and ethical guidelines is more pressing than ever. Join The Life Design Lab at Homewood - Johns Hopkins University for a comprehensive exploration of AI governance, specifically designed to provide insights relevant to the fields of Communications and Media. The event will begin with a fireside chat featuring leading experts in AI policy and ethics, Antonia Nicols, Chinasa T. Okolo, Ph.D., Mr. SR RAJ from WOMANIUM, and Broderick Turner who will share their perspectives on the regulatory challenges and ethical dilemmas that impact media and communication industries. Following this, there will be an engaging debate between students and experts, moderated by Joseph Wankelman, MS in Data Analytics & Policy at The Johns Hopkins University. This debate will address the ethical implications of AI in media, including issues of bias, privacy, and the evolving role of AI in content creation and distribution. Whether you're passionate about AI's impact on media or concerned about the broader implications of emerging technologies on communication practices, this event will deepen your understanding of AI governance and its relevance to your field. Panelists: Chinasa T. Research Physical Scientist at National Energy Technology Laboratory

I appreciated the opportunity to speak at the WOMANIUM Global Quantum + AI Bootcamp earlier this summer about the current state of and emerging trends for #quantumsensors in the energy sector, although I am far from an expert on this topic. #Quantumsensing technologies are increasingly entering the market, and the field has matured significantly over the past few years, with players ranging in size from start-ups to multinational corporations. As the field continues to mature, the development of a #quantum savvy workforce will become increasingly important. Events such as this Quantum Bootcamp are an exciting and innovative way to address this emerging need.
