The mark of an effective organisation is a work culture that values #thriving. Thriving work cultures empower people to work together with generativity and trust, rather than reactivity and fear, and they attract, develop, and retain people at their best. The end of the year is a great time to reflect on your #workculture and how those you lead are doing. Do you leave work feeling more energized, more capable than when you arrived? Are you thriving at work? These are great questions to reflect on for yourself and with your team. And if you're wondering how to transform your work culture to one that thrives, we can help --> https://lnkd.in/gs2tki5U #Thrivingatwork #ThrivingLeadership #transformation #purpose #culture #changemanagement

🚨Startling Statistic: Only 30% of Women Leaders Feel Optimistic About Their Future🚨 At Wisdom Works, we recently invited a group of 66 women leaders to examine key bio-psycho-social-spiritual factors influencing their capacity to thrive and effectively lead. What we found was concerning: Only 30% expressed high satisfaction with their lives today and optimism for their future. This stat made me pause and consider the broader implications: 🔹 Personal Wellbeing: A lack of optimism can signal burnout, stress, and imposter syndrome. Consider: Many women leaders face disproportionate pressures at work and home, leading to mental and emotional exhaustion. 🔹 Leadership and Organizational Performance: A lack of optimism can impact leadership effectiveness, driving higher turnover risk and less engagement. As many women leaders consider stepping down, organizations lose valuable talent and hinder the development of future women leaders. 🔹 Gender Equality: A lack of optimism can reflect deeper, systemic barriers like bias and unequal opportunities in the workplace. If women leaders feel limited, how can we expect the next generation to aspire to leadership? 🔹 Organizational Culture and Inclusivity: If organizations don’t address gender bias and support thriving not only at work but in life overall, women leaders may feel unsupported or alienated, creating toxic environments that stifle growth and innovation. The challenges women face in leadership aren’t just personal—they’re organizational, societal, and economic. We must create environments that empower women—and ALL people—to lead with optimism, confidence, and a deep capacity to thrive. #WomenInLeadership #GenderEquality #LeadershipDevelopment #InclusiveWorkplace #WomenEmpowerment #MentalHealthAtWork #WorkLifeIntegration #DiversityAndInclusion #FutureOfWork Catalyst Inc. Practical and thoughtful insights from Be Well Lead Well Pulse® Certified Guide Ting Li on the power of emotions to support #teamthriving. We are so glad you're part of our #community 💙 #BeWellLeadWell #thrivingatwork #leadership #culture #emotions
A coach & trainer focusing on the effectiveness enhancement and leadership development. Before becoming a professional coach, she served as Marketing Head for several multinational companies.
Do you get emotionally disturbed by untrue messages from various groups in your workday? I've been experiencing some unbelievable rumors lately. My best friend sees an outside message in the middle of the night and asks me how I'm doing. I said I've been so busy lately that I didn't even pay attention on the rumor. This made me think of the book < The Crowd> and some very familiar scenarios of dealing with negative team emotions from past work experiences. So I would like to write this post about why the emotion is contagious and how the team leaders break down contagious team negativity and stay THRIVING. I hope you enjoy this article #Thriving #HighPerformanceTeam #TransparentCommunication #EmotionIntelligence #Leadership #Assertiveness #EnergyManagement #ExecutiveCoaching #Coaching #TeamCoaching

Organization-based self esteem is a key lever for job satisfaction, engagement, performance, and that "going the extra mile" quality of some people. Across the research, it's also linked to a lower turnover, depression and physical health symptoms, along with greater mental health and wellbeing. Yet, many leaders fail to pull this lever to create work and work environments where people thrive. When our thriving leadership assessment, Be Well Lead Well Pulse®, was recently administered with +50 leaders leading pharma business across Asia-Pacific, we found their organization-based self esteem - what we call Self Esteem at Work - as one of the most important bio-psycho-social factors we measured. Leaders who reported higher Self Esteem at Work also reported higher Flourishing. This means that, even in the midst of significant changes in their organizations and region, these leaders: * Had a life rich with meaning and purpose * Felt competent and engaged in work, as well as life outside work * Enjoyed positive social relationships * Felt respected by others * Held optimism about the future * Extended themselves to support others In a nutshell, leaders reporting high Self Esteem at Work were well-resourced in their lives to effectively lead at work. Do you and your leadership team experience a high degree of Self Esteem at Work? Consider this lever for boosting your effectiveness and capacity to thrive.
