We are happy to announce that Winse Power has been selected as a DIANA Innovator, part of NATO DIANA Accelerator program. Winse Power develops Optical links, a novel solution for delivering power and data with light. This novel technology enables a new platform for Sensing and Surveillance applications. “With the DIANA Program, we can bring our cutting-edge deep tech solution to the Alliance and grow as a company to a reliable supplier for both our civilian and defense partners” highlights CEO Ville Polojärvi. In the DIANA program, we accelerate our development in the Sensing and Surveillance fields. Our Optical links promote features such as secure operation and are lightweight, both well suited for the challenges that modern Sensing and Surveillance solutions face. “Increased range is the main value proposition of Winse Power Optical links,” adds CTO Arto Aho. “There is still some work to do to reach the finalized end product. However, we have a clear roadmap and dedicated technical team and partners to realize this during next year.” ends COO Veikka Nikander. “We are excited to develop and expand our capabilities as a team in DIANA” Congratulations also to the other accepted Cohort members, especially to the ones from Finland: Kelluu and ElFys, Inc. 🎉

Our COO Veikka Nikander took part in a PIMAP4Sustainability organized international trade mission to Tokyo, Japan. Special thanks to our Finnish side contact point, Photonics Finland Caroline Amiot, and the mission organizer CZECH AEROSPACE Cluster Petr Tomášek for facilitating the mission. The mission was an excellent opportunity to expand our collaboration between European and Japanese organizations.
Last week was full of events for the partners but also for the companies who joined us during our 🌏 International Mission to Japan 🇯🇵 In conjunction with the Manufacturing World (RX Japan) event, we organised workshops with local organisations like EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, JETRO - Japan External Trade Organization and the Czech Republic Embassy in Tokyo to help companies to connect with Japanese partners and build collaboration in the future. Thanks to all the organisations that took part in the event and a special thank to our hosts for the interesting workshops and great networking opportunities. #innovation #collaboration #Japan #EU #companies #markets #technology #metalworking #aerospace #photonics
