Yesterday, we had the pleasure of watching, Chelsea Kude speak at the X Breakfast! Such a surreal moment to be at the place where our founders met. Xavier will always hold a special place within our organization! An inspirational quote from Chelsea Kundes speech, “you can do hard things” this really hit home. To all our applicants, you can do hard things & we are here to support you! Way to crush it yesterday Chelsea 🎉

Meet Terri. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Terri was diagnosed with lung cancer in January and has started a series of chemo treatments. She says “ I have always been confident. I’ve noticed, just with my diagnosis, I am losing more & more of that confident feeling every day. I am now very emotional, & find myself crying all of the time. I just want to be by myself, which is not my normal personality at all. I have always enjoyed being around others, making sure everyone was having a good time. I am known as the person that people know is always there to help others. On a lighter note, I am known as “The Party Planner”! Now my patience has become very short. I’m finding I don’t want to be around others. I just don’t feel good about myself. I believe wearing a wig will help to bring back my confidence.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is why we do what we do. We were able to approve Terri! Our mission is to help women, men and children return a sense of self. To help a loved one or yourself going through medically related hair loss and wanting to feel better apply to Wigged Out today! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #hair #medical #nonprofit #hairloss #hairlosssolution #hairlosstreatment #givingback #cancer #alopecia #cancerfighter #nonprofits #cancersupport #alopeciaareata #losshair #nonprofitwork #alopeciawigs #nonprofitorganizations #nonprofitlife #communityservice #hairlosshelp

Meet Lindsey! Lindsey was diagnosed with Breast Cancer two days after Christmas. She has started chemo and still has a double mastectomy and radiation ahead of her. She hopes a wig will help with less hiding and get out more, and with summer she can’t always wear a hoodie with a baseball hat. Update: We were able to approve Lindsey! Lindsey sent us a follow up email with some photos. She said, “Thank you for this opportunity! I love the new wig and it helps my confidence so much.” : #hair #medical #nonprofit #hairloss #hairlosssolution #hairlosstreatment #givingback #cancer #alopecia #cancerfighter #nonprofits #cancersupport #alopeciaareata #losshair #nonprofitwork #alopeciawigs #nonprofitorganizations #nonprofitlife #communityservice #hairlosshelp

One of our most FAQ is “how much funding does Wigged Out provide?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Funding is variable, and dependent on many factors, however, most of our applicants are able to find a high quality wig that they love with the funding Wigged Out is able to provide. Funding may also be used to help offset the cost of a wig. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you going through medically related hair loss or know someone who is? Are you located in Arizona? Apply to Wigged Out today and starting feeling like yourself again!
