Advancing excellence in performing arts presenting in the West by connecting and serving members and the field at large.

About us

Western Arts Alliance (WAA) is a membership association of touring and performing arts professionals who have been engaged since 1967 in promoting and presenting performance throughout the western states and provinces. The Western Arts Alliance Annual Conference is the premier gathering of arts professionals in the West, and offers rewarding opportunities in business, networking, discovery and education for members and nonmembers alike. WAA’s innovative marketplace, The Commons, provides access to information on thousands of artists, renowned social events, showcase performances, and insightful educational sessions and speakers through WAA’s Professional Development Institute. This performing arts marketplace, traditionally held around Labor Day weekend, convenes WAA members and other arts professionals to strengthen their knowledge of the field, cultivate relationships, explore new work, and build leads.

It was a WAAnderful gathering!  🎥 We hope you enjoy this silly WAA staff video we captured in the 360-photo booth! 🎊

  • Feeling overwhelmed with gratitude. We are so humbled by this beautiful community. 🫶 🥹 🖋️ This note in particular was one we needed to share. Thanks Michelle Shabtai for your kind words and your edit/upgrade to the Town and Country Resort front desk sign. (Much needed!) "I really don't know how... but somehow... I have to leave this magical place and these incredible people. Thank you WAA 2024, I am so grateful! Also, the sign in the hotel lobby needed a little tweak. 😊" 2024 WAA Summer Camp was the best! See you next year in LA! #2024waa #westernartsalliance #waasummercamp2024
