  • The Westchase District team is excited to engage with brokers and CRE experts in 2025 through our insightful presentations tailored to help you better serve your clients. Our 30-minute presentations are designed to equip brokers with valuable insights into Westchase District’s recent growth, including mobility improvements, safety initiatives, and its strong position in the Houston office leasing market. Companies like Apache Corporation, Bechtel Corporation, and Noble Corporation have already chosen Westchase as their home base. Recently, we connected with Partners Real Estate, Avison Young, and the Commercial Real Estate Research Forum (CRERF). Rachel Alexander, president of CRERF, shared: "The CRE research community was long overdue for an update on Westchase District, especially given the area's recent office leasing momentum. Irma, Sherry, and team were great hosts, taking us through the District's detailed efforts around mobility, safety, and beautification, along with the long-term vision for Westchase." Whether at your location or ours, we’ll deliver a concise, informative session to help you guide clients considering a move to West Houston. And yes, we’ll provide breakfast or lunch to make it even better! We’re already scheduled to present to Transwestern and CBRE, and we’d love to add your team to our calendar. 📧 Interested? Reach out to Chris Nelson at cnelson@westchasedistrict.com to schedule a presentation.

  • The Westchase District Community Fund (WDCF) has spent 2024 doing what it does best — supporting programs that make life better in Westchase. Since 2010, WDCF has focused on stepping in where it’s needed most, helping with projects that go beyond the District’s usual efforts. That help came in many forms this year, from sending kids to camp to fighting food insecurity. This summer, the Fund gave 20 kids the chance to attend Camp Quillian through scholarships covering 61 weeks of camp. Ten Alief ISD students received scholarships to perform in The Nutcracker with Bayou City Ballet. Weekly rehearsals led to live performances, and free ballet workshops at Woodchase Park brought the dance to the community. As school started, WDCF organized a supply drive, collecting enough items to help more than 1,300 students through West Houston Assistance Ministries (WHAM). The fund also sponsored WHAM’s Spring Dash, which supports hunger and poverty relief. If you’re looking for a place for year-end giving and want to support a fund making a real difference across the community, consider donating at wdcfund.org/donate.
