About us

WEquil School began during the pandemic as a project based learning community. Founded by Sumay and Aila, two girls in the midst of a global pandemic, they were forced to find a solution for their education. Today, WEquil School is one of many learning communities on WEquil App, helping young people share their creations like books, essays, presentations, music compositions, apps, and other unique projects. WEquil is "The Homeschool App" providing solutions for families to connect, find community and share their creations. WEquil School employs a project-based learning model. Our approach ignites curiosity in learners, allowing them to explore their strengths, interests and passions. At WEquil School students engage with individuals of all ages and interests exposing them to new ideas. Through creating projects students learn how to create real value to prepare for the real world. WEquil School provides a four week program for families to learn our learning approach and become WEquil Members. What will you get?     Holy crap. I just used AI to build an entire podcast course in less than a day. Over the weekend, I worked with Google NotebookLM to make a 15-episode series covering key AI topics. Listen to them all for AI enlightenment, or click around to find your next dinner party flex. 🔈 Here's the lineup: 1. AI Overview, Turing Test, AI Winters 2. Machine Learning & MLOps 3. Prompt Engineering 4. Reinforcement Learning, AI Agents, RLHF 5. Transformers & Attention 6. Large Language Models (LLMs) 7. Generative AI 8. Vector Databases, Embeddings, RAG 9. Deep Learning & Neural Networks 10. Privacy, Federated Learning, Encryption 11. AI Transparency, Explainability, Interpretability 12. AI Algorithmic Bias and Ethics 13. Multimodal AI 14. AI Agents & Agentic AI 15. AGI and Superintelligence How I did it so you can too: first, I worked alongside ChatGPT to pick the right topics. The first options were genuinely awful or way too outdated. This took almost an hour of brainstorming. Then, for each topic, I grabbed a bunch of sources (5-16 articles, videos, papers per episode). I moved all sources into NotebookLM, validated they were uploaded (a bunch of YT videos break). Then grabbed the NotebookLM summary, transferred them back to Claude and ChatGPT to finalize all titles and episode descriptions to be SEO-optimized. And finally, created a Spotify for Podcasters channel, uploaded logo, description, and all episodes.     5 superpowers I learned from an Olympian, a Billionaire, and my Dad that I used to build a $100M business: 1. Focus The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your focus. You don’t need more time. You need more focus. 2. Curiosity Curiosity is a better measure of future sucess than intelligence, hardwork, or genetics. Read books. Listen to podcasts. Watch educational videos. Go on. Indulge. It's good for you. But only if you also develop: 3. Creativity Creativity is the ability to combine two or more pieces of unrelated information in new, functional ways. Creativity makes you irreplaceable. Master this skill and you can places in life nobody has even imagined yet. Curiosity and Creativity are the yin-yang of modern excellence. Curiosity = Collecting Dots Creativity = Connecting Dots Overflowing your creativity tank with too much info isn't helpful. Neither is connecting the same two dots over and over again. Creativity is a muscle. Hone it by creating something new every single day. 4. Poise I used to coach young competition rock climbers. One of these athletes went on to compete at the Tokyo Olympics. This girl was physically unassuming and had a peculiar technique that most people considered ‘wrong’… Most would not look at her and think: “She is going to be a world-beater.” But she possessed the remarkably rare ability to act in the face of fear, anxiety, and doubt in a calm, calculated, and precise manner. I call this Poise and I believe it is a superpower that the highest achievers amongst us are able to conjure on demand. Listen… You are only free in this life to the extent to which you are able to control your emotions. If you cannot master your emotions, then you will have no choice but to serve them. Taming your emotions requires Poise. To develop Poise, you must regularly expose yourself to stressful situations while forcing yourself to remain calm and in control. Here are 3 activities I find powerful: • Cold Shower • Breath Holding • Wall Sits 5. Judgment In an age of infinite potential leverage, Judgment is THE superpower. Unfortunately, it can't be taught. It can only be developed. Here's how: Write Listen, writing sucks. It's slow and hard and tedious... and most of us suck at it. And school didn't help. If anything, it just reinforced how hard writing actually is. Which is a shame, because: Writing is the physical manifestation of your ephemeral thoughts. Good writing is the result of clear thinking, which leads to improved judgment. *** Which of these 5 superpowers are you working on?
