Weir is proud to offer an exceptional Machinist Apprenticeship Program to candidates in St Louis, Missouri. Established in 2012, the program is designed to equip students with invaluable on-the-job training that teaches the fundamentals of each machine with certified trainers. Over the years, we’ve successfully trained 18 talented candidates who are now thriving in their careers and have 11 more apprentices who are currently completing their certification. We’ve also had several apprentices promoted to roles within Weir including shop lead, manufacturing engineer, machinist, and designer. Congratulations to two more apprentices who recently graduated! Pictured here are Paul Gagne (third from left) and Patrick Hoerchler (fourth from the left) with some of our talented team in St. Louis. Both have shown exceptional dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence throughout their apprenticeship.
