🌟 Giving Back to Our Community 🌟 Last week, our Olsson Plano team, along with other amazing volunteers, had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank. We were tasked with the Kroger sort, and I'm proud to share that we sorted an impressive 13,391 pounds of food, which translates to 11,159 meals for those in need! 🥫🍏 In total, the combined efforts of all volunteers that day resulted in 31,391 pounds of food sorted and packed, providing 26,159 meals to our community. This included various sorting tasks beyond just the Kroger sort, showcasing the power of teamwork and dedication. It was a rewarding experience to contribute to such a meaningful cause and see the impact of our collective efforts. BIG BRAIN ENERGY Have you ever been surrounded by a room full of just really. smart. people? Olsson's Planning and Engagement team got together from our offices across the country to celebrate successes, set goals for next year, talk about best practices to improve communities, and enjoy some time together in person. (leave it to the planners to throw ourselves a charrette - ha!) The energy this week was electric and I can't wait to see the work this awesome team will do in 2025!

Healthy communities have great parks. And great parks require healthy soil. We combined ancient Texas clay with modern soil science to establish a new coastal prairie and topography in Houston’s Memorial Park. Our soil scientists worked with the park’s conservancy to find the right soil structure, chemical balance, and microbiology to create a beautiful natural environment within an urban landscape. #NationalSoilDay
