Meet Esteban, a participant in our Work Readiness Program. In his time at BCS, he’s learned how to prepare for job interviews and present himself professionally, and he’s even gotten hands-on work experience organizing merchandise at Burlington. “I feel like there’s more for me to learn here before I get a job,” says Esteban. “But so far, I’ve worked on how to dress for an interview and for work in general, how to have a positive attitude, how to be compassionate and have empathy for people.” Esteban believes that the Work Readiness Program has given him the tools he’ll need to eventually land a full-time position and be a model employee in his workplace. #WeAreBCS #workreadiness #jobskills #Brooklyn #nonprofit #NYCnonprofit
