It was a privilege to join my fellow healthcare leaders today at #BeckersCEOCFO to discuss the path forward for health systems in Medicare Advantage. Hospitals losing money on every Medicare medical admission, subsidizing a primary care doc at 250k per year and employing 74 percent of the nations primary care docs makes it a compelling time to change the model for senior care.
