Thank you to Mel-O-Cream Donuts International, Inc. (Springfield Stores) and Crave Cookies Springfield for their donations to the Mission today! As we head towards Thanksgiving, today we want to thank all of our local restaurants, caterers, churches, and community groups who donate food or meals to the mission throughout the year. From cases of fruits, to the coffee from BUNN, and the dozens-upon-dozens-upon-dozens of donuts we receive each month from Mel-O-Cream Donuts, we are deeply appreciative!

Today we honor all who bravely served to protect our nation. Thank you for your sacrifices and the sacrifices of their families. While Veteran Homelessness has dropped 50% over the past 14 years, 33,000 veterans are experiencing homelessness today. Nearly 14,000 of these veterans are unsheltered. As a society, we must do better. As a community, we must do better. Support your local services working together to help solve the challenges of veteran homelessness.
