✨Celebrating the Future of Multifamily Housing!✨ At the President’s Brunch, we had the privilege of recognizing the Kari Anderson Emerging Leaders — a dynamic group of individuals who are shaping the future of our industry. These professionals are the ones to watch, bringing fresh ideas, innovation, and leadership to the multifamily housing sector. We also took a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication of our Committees, welcome new board members, and reflect on the remarkable achievements of 2024. Earlier this week, WMFHA’s Carter Nelson (Interim Director of Government Affairs) and Nick Marin (Executive Director), as well as several WMFHA Government Affairs volunteer leaders, met with Executives from the National Apartment Association (NAA), National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), Up for Growth, and other industry allies to network, information share, and strengthen our collaborative partnerships. A lot of work is being done behind the scenes to prepare for our upcoming 2025 Legislative Session in Washington State, which begins on Monday, January 13th, and these meetings play a vital role in strengthening our advocacy and lobbying efforts.
