12 hard-earned lessons for junior designers. I remember this feeling as if it was yesterday. Excitement coupled with fear. This was my first major project. I was unsure if I could do it. If I had the skills - I was a beginner. Back then, there were no boot camps. I taught myself everything by reading tutorials. YouTube was not a thing yet. And skeuomorphism was the main trend. (𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘮) Looking back at the beginning of my journey reminds me of some lessons learned, sometimes the hard way. Lessons that made me the designer I am today. If you're a beginner, I envy you sometimes. It's like experiencing your favorite game or watching your favorite movie for the first time. This won't happen again. Cherish this feeling!
