A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated our annual VSA Holiday Party. As our busy 2024 draws to a close, it was nice to enjoy an evening of great food, ugly sweaters, and excellent company. We're looking forward to what 2025 brings! #VSA

About us
The Virginia Spaceport Authority, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia, owns and operates the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport (MARS). This spaceport includes three launch pads, an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Airfield, a Payload Processing Facility (PPF), and an Integration and Control Facility (ICF). These facilities are located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia at Wallops Island.

Assured access to space is a worldwide effort. 🚀 We’ve talked about how international collaboration is a goal to be shared across the world stage. Today, we’ve formalized this thought in signing a Memorandum of Understanding alongside eight other spaceports across five continents. This MOU will establish a forum to explore potential strategic collaboration in areas of common interest and will introduce a dialogue on establishing international spaceport standards.
